Đại lễ Vesak 2025 – ngày kỷ niệm Đản sinh của Đức Thế Tôn

Hạnh phúc thay Chư Phật ra đời,

Hạnh phúc thay Chánh Pháp được truyền bá khắp nơi,

Hạnh phúc thay Tăng đoàn hòa hợp,

Hạnh phúc thay Tứ chúng đồng tu hướng thiện.

Trong niềm hân hoan chào đón Đại lễ Vesak 2025 – ngày kỷ niệm Đản sinh của Đức Thế Tôn, nhân loại như được hòa vào dòng suối mát của hỷ lạc và giác ngộ. Hơn 2600 năm trước, một bậc Đại Giác đã xuất hiện, mang ánh sáng chân lý soi đường cho thế gian vượt thoát mê lầm. Nhờ hồng ân Tam Bảo, nhờ ánh sáng từ bi và trí tuệ của Đức Phật dẫn lối, cộng đồng Phật tử khắp nơi đã cùng nhau hướng tâm về ngày lễ thiêng liêng này. Chính trong tinh thần đó, Đạo tràng Tâm Như Hạnh đã phát động dự án tôn tạo 10.000 pho tượng Phật để cúng dường Vesak 2025.

Chỉ trong vòng một tháng ngắn ngủi, 10.000 tôn tượng đã được tôn tạo và quy tụ về đạo tràng như một “hội đồng chư Phật” giữa đời thường. Không phải ngẫu nhiên. Đó là tiếng gọi từ nội tâm, từ lòng từ bi và từ khát vọng tỉnh thức của mỗi người con Phật. Đây không chỉ là việc làm mang ý nghĩa tạo phước. Mà hơn thế, đó là hành trình trở về với chính mình. Mỗi pho tượng là một lời nhắc nhở nhẹ nhàng mà sâu sắc: hãy sống tỉnh thức, hãy tu sửa, hãy hoàn thiện thân tâm trong từng khoảnh khắc.

Chúng con – những Phật tử tại gia, là người nội trợ, giáo viên, doanh nhân, học sinh – dù khác nhau về nghề nghiệp, nhưng cùng chung một niềm tin vào Đức Phật, cùng một tâm nguyện tôn tạo hình tượng Ngài để cúng dường trong mùa lễ trọng Vesak – Đại lễ Liên Hiệp Quốc. Đặc biệt, các chú, các em nhỏ từ mọi miền đất nước cũng đã cùng tham gia, tự tay tôn tạo từng pho tượng, tạo nên một nét văn hóa riêng biệt của Phật giáo Việt Nam – một văn hóa kết tinh từ lòng từ ái và niềm tôn kính Tam Bảo.

Bốn tuần trôi qua như bóng mây lướt ngang đỉnh núi. Mười ngàn pho tượng nay đã hiện hữu tại mái nhà lam của Đạo tràng Tâm Như Hạnh. Nhịp đập của hơn 150 thành viên ngày đêm chăm chỉ tôn tạo tượng Phật bên gia đình, trong tình đạo hữu và chánh niệm – không ồn ào, không phô trương – chỉ lặng lẽ, nhưng rực rỡ ánh sáng của niềm tin và tình thương. Không ai bảo ai. Chỉ có tiếng gọi từ con tim. Từ khát nguyện muốn tỉnh ra giữa cơn mộng dài. Không vì điều gì. Chỉ là cơ hội buông xuống – để thấy rõ hơn con đường trở về. Mỗi pho tượng là một đóa hoa tâm.

Blessed indeed is the advent of all Buddhas;

Rejoice! Blessed indeed is the universal propagation of the Dharma;

Rejoice! Blessed indeed is the unity of the Sangha;

Rejoice! Blessed indeed is the concord of the Fourfold Assembly in cultivating the in the path of virtue.

In joyous celebration of Vesak 2025, the sacred commemoration of the Buddha’s birth, humankind seems to be immersed in a stream of joy and awakening. Over 2,600 years ago, a Great Enlightened One appeared, dispelling the darkness of ignorance and delusion with the radiant lamp of Truth.

Thanks to the grace of the Triple Gem, and the compassionate, wise guidance of the Buddha, devotees around the world have turned their hearts toward this sacred occasion. In that spirit, the Tam Nhu Hanh Dharma Center initiated a project to cast 10,000 Buddha statues as an offering for Vesak 2025.

In just one short month, all 10,000 statues were completed and gathered at the Dharma center like a “council of Buddhas”. This did not happen by chance—it was a calling from innermost hearts, from compassion and from the deep yearning for awakening in every Buddhist.

This endeavor transcends a meritorious act. It is a journey back to our true selves. Each statue stands as a gentle yet profound reminder: “Remain mindful, cultivate yourself, and purify body and mind in every moment”.

We, lay practitioners though different in profession, are united in unwavering faith in the Buddha and in the heartfelt aspiration to cast his image as a sacred offering during the Vesak season.

Especially touching is the participation of elders and youngs countrywide, who each helped shape the statues with their own hands—forming a distinctive cultural expression of Vietnamese Buddhism, a culture born of loving-kindness and reverence for the Triple Gem.

Four weeks time flies. Tam Nhu Hanh Dharma Center is accommodating the ten thousand statues which have been cast by more than 150 members worked tirelessly day and night, at home, with family, in the spirit of mindfulness and spiritual fellowship, but quietly, brightly glowing with faith and love.

No one was told.

It was simply a calling from the heart. A longing to awaken from a long dream, not for any reason, only as an opportunity to let go of all and to see more clearly the path back Truth. Each statue is a flower of the heart. Each hand that offers a statue is a step toward the pure-pristine self. Each day, the community members share photos of newly completed statues—like gentle encouragements:

“One statue a day, one step upon the path of practice.” No age limits: all can craft a statue with their own hands, starting from the first guided step. Today, in this solemn moment of the handover ceremony, we respectfully bow and express our deepest gratitude to:

• The boundless grace of the Triple Gem,

• The Venerable Monks and Nuns,

• And the devoted Buddhist lay devotees throughout the country,

who have joined hearts and hands to bring the project of these 10,000 sacred Buddha statues into practice. This project is not just a merit-making act initiated by Tam Nhu Hanh Dharma Center, but also a meaningful contribution to a Buddhist significant event.

We sincerely hope that, through this endeavor, every the Buddha devotee can shape a statue of their own as a commitment to live mindfully and to perfect oneself on the path of evolution.

Nhân mùa An cư kiết hạ, các thành viên trong Đạo tràng TNH hội đủ duyên lành khi Thượng toạ Thích Giác Dũng sắp xếp lịch trình để chúng con được trở về để thăm viếng Tu viện Vĩnh Nghiêm & và đảnh lễ TT Thích Giác Dũng, Trợ lý Viện trưởng Học viện PGVN . Đây là dịp gieo duyên lành để kết duyên cùng đạo tràng tại Tu viện Vĩnh Nghiêm của Thượng toạ Thích Giác Dũng.

Chiều ngày 13/7, tại Tu viện Long Hưng một chương trình Workshop hướng dẫn làm tượng Phật đã được tổ chức trong không khí trang nghiêm, ấm áp và đầy ý nghĩa tâm linh. Chương trình do Ni sư Diệu Hiếu phối hợp cùng Đạo tràng Tâm Như Hạnh (đơn vị tài trợ và trực tiếp hướng dẫn) tổ chức, với sự tham dự của hơn 200 Phật tử.

GNO – Chiều 20-4, tại chùa Pháp Hoa (Q.3, TP.HCM), Ban Văn hóa T.Ư tiếp nhận 10.000 tượng Phật được thực hiện bởi đạo tràng Tâm Như Hạnh trao tặng tại Đại lễ Vesak 2025. Sự kiện diễn ra trong khuôn khổ phiên họp Ban Văn hóa nhằm rà soát công tác chuẩn bị các hoạt động trọng điểm cho Đại lễ Vesak sắp tới.

TP. Hồ Chí Minh, ngày 20/4/2025 – Tại chùa Pháp Hoa (quận 3, TP.HCM), Ban Văn hóa Trung ương Giáo hội Phật giáo Việt Nam (GHPGVN) đã tổ chức cuộc họp tổng rà soát công tác chuẩn bị cho Đại lễ Phật đản Liên Hợp Quốc – Vesak 2025. Buổi họp đồng thời diễn ra nghi lễ tiếp nhận và chú nguyện 10.000 pho tượng Phật và tranh cát được nhóm Phật tử Tâm Như Hạnh phát tâm cúng dường làm quà tặng đại biểu đại lễ Vesak 2025.

Tối ngày 13/4/2025 (nhằm 16/3 Ất Tỵ), tại khu RiverSide (239/4 Nguyễn Duy Trinh, P. Bình Trưng Tây), hàng trăm Phật tử và thiện hữu tri thức đã cùng nhau tham dự Đêm Hoa đăng lần IV – một chương trình tâm linh sâu sắc hướng về Đại lễ Vesak Liên Hiệp Quốc 2025, với chủ đề: “Nguyện cầu 10.000 tượng Phật sớm thành tựu, kết nối lòng người trong ánh sáng từ bi.”

Vào ngày Thứ Bảy, 14/6/2025 vừa qua, hơn 40 thành viên đã cùng hội tụ tại đạo tràng Tâm Như Hạnh (239/4 Nguyễn Duy Trinh, P. Bình Trưng Tây, TP. Thủ Đức) để tham gia một ngày sinh hoạt đầy ý nghĩa – nơi ánh sáng nến, hương thiền và niềm vui cùng nhau lan tỏa khắp không gian.

Vào chiều ngày 7/4/2025 (tức mồng 10 tháng 3, năm Ất Tỵ) tại Đạo Tràng Tâm Như Hạnh, Lake View City, An Phú, TP. Thủ Đức, Việt Nam, TT Thích Đồng Trí chia sẻ đề tài : “Ý NGHĨA & LỢI ÍCH CỦA TẠC HÌNH TƯỢNG PHẬT – THỜ PHẬT – LỄ PHẬT”.

Khép lại dự án tôn tạo 10.000 tượng Phật cúng dường Đại lễ Vesak 2025, cũng là dấu mốc kỷ niệm 10 năm thành lập Đạo tràng Tâm Như Hạnh – một hành trình đầy tâm huyết, kết nối những trái tim cùng hướng về Chánh pháp với tinh thần “Kết Duyên – Tạo Phước”.
